I don't have the funds at least right now to buy the real sound foam, but do you think getting a couple of those eggcarton mattress pads for my garage would help a bit? Any other suggestions would be great! Thanks

I have know since I set up shop that the LF in my monitoring environment had some peaks. Not as bad as a bedroom, but definitely not smooth. (The monitors are B&W 801series III which can definitely reproduce 25Hz, and flat to boot.)

Hey, I'd seen this site on the net and decided I'd try and build 'em (see links below). It took my wife and I a day to build two 6'X14" traps. I can hardly believe how much of a difference it has made in the sound of my booth... it has just sucked out the mud.
