I have a Technics SU-Z22 Amplifier and I was thinking of buying a console(Soundcraft Compact-4) and a pair of Tannoy Reveals(passive - less money since I have the amplifier) for home recording.

I'm in the market for an amplifier that will be used with NS-10M as the primary speakers.

In my experience, a Crown amp of 1000 watts minimum sounds as good as anything for these particular speakers.

I have been struggling for a while to find a suitable microphone when Micing a guitar amplifier. Could anyone give me some ideas on mics to achieve a good sound. In other words, what microphones would you use when Micing up a guitar amp?
