Has anyone here worked with this? I just got it and have been playing around with it, but trying to figure out what's what, and how to maximize performance. When I finish recording all the tracks and go back and adjust volumes of the tracks to balance them, it will save with my final settings right? Not with what the initial input volumes?

They should call it M-Visual. I can see the mixer, but can't hear a sound.

While I am not suprised AVID rebranded the Mboxes I am suprised at this statement "Now for use with all DAWs and audio software!"

I've never owned an of digi's products so I don't know, do they really only work with the Pro Tools platform?

I logged on to the DUC forums today to see a thread regarding a certain Sweetwater employee who apparently was canned for breaking a non disclosure agreement. I'm a little out of the know here since I almost never visit that forum and the thread that got him in trouble has since been deleted.

So not really much of a topic, but seriously, can't we just boycott Pro Tools?

Is this a good thing? I don't know. Again we see Avid powering it's way through the industry.

This question is mainly directed to DAvid Herbert. I'm a very big pixies fan, and was wondering what are some of the plugins you used while working with Frank Black. My assistant told me you worked on some Metallica, which I assume is post Cliff Burton era? Any production method stories? What method's are taken in a typical Frank Black record? Straight to DAW?
