First let me start off by saying I'm fairly new to multitrack/digital recording.

I am trying to record audio through a mic to my computer via the mixer (Behringer UB1002), but I can't figure out how to route it through the mixer to record...or my other option was to record to a miniDV deck. I attempted to record audio only to the deck but nothing plays back. Do I think I have the wiring correct. Need advice on the best way to record sound.

Hey, I am using a MOTU 896HD into cakewalk on my pc. I would really like to get a control surface! I can get them both for about the same price ($200). Or do you know of any thing for about the same price that will work for me?

I can not hear on the phones and monitor section outputs the music from my mini disk that connected to the optical input ? thanks for your halp

i've been planning on being able to record live gigs besides on my project studio!
i've bought a MOTU 828 mkII, a few mics and so!
i was planning on buying a a cheap 8 pre-amp unit for recording live! already have 8 pres from my mixer! they would go to the line ins of the motu! The ones i was seeing was the m-audio octane, digimax, Behringer ada 8000 and look alikes...

The microphone input/the ability to record using the microphone at all with an integrated RealTek sound card in a Gateway pc appears to not be working - possibly due to some signal damage.

I have just bought a Behringer BCA 2000 control audio unit, and am having major problems using it with Logic 5.5, and until getting updated drivers from Behringer , couldnt record or playback and music.

When recording, or playing back, i get the error messages -

' The ASIO driver recieved a reset request' and asked if i want to start logic

I play with some friends (just fun) and we need a pair of monitors for our rehearsal place.

We have:

Always: Drums, acoustic&electric guitar, cello and vocals.
Sometimes: percussion, hurdy-gurdy, clarinet...

I'm tired of the Behringer mx3282 and it only took 1 month of recording. So now it's onto better things. I'm looking for recommendations on what mixer to move up to ( I know it won't take much to move up ). I have the Tascam 2600 in mind but I also have a TAC scorpion 32x8 that was offered to me. Would I be heading for a full time maintenance job on the Tac ?

I got a new MX9000 a short time ago and found I have some pretty serious crosstalk. All active channels bleed through to the aux sends even with all faders down and all channel auxes down. Anybody else here for an MX9000, and if so do you have these issues?
