I want to buy a new digital multitracker, and I want to choose between the Tascam DP-01FX, Boss br-900CD and the Fostex mr8, does anyone have any experience with these machines and can give me some usefull advice?

hello everyone, i'm just here late at night trying to break in my isa 428, and i have a question. actually, this really has nothing to do with the 428 per se, but rather how to run line outs from a sampler/mixer. When i used to use my PreSonus firestation, i would run the line outs of my boss sp-303 or Korg ms2000b into the line ins of the firestation.

I bought a Boss BR-864. Can anyone tell me how to program your own drum beats to go along with the recorded tracks? help would be appreciated!...

ok, i have a "FEW" newbie questions. i have a boss br1600. I am about to start mixing my new batch of songs. The process goes: record the tune-adjust your levels- bounce the song down to 2 tracks(stereo).

I just purchased a Boss 532 Digital Recorder. It allows me to download directly to my computer using a USB cable. If I do this and burn a CD off the computer does it matter what sound card I am using or does it bypass the sound card altogether?

Does anyone know if there's a place I can find settings for the BR-864 to make the effects sound like certain guitar players' set ups?

I'm interested in getting my guitar to sound like Dimebag Darrell's (R.I.P.) because my band is covering some Pantera stuff, but I can't quite get it and there are so many settings in the BR-864 that I'm getting tired of guessing.

* A Pod XT
* A Boss BR532 (digital 4-track)
* CoolEdit PC recording software

At the moment I am playing into the Boss, and then hooking the Boss up to my PC sound cards line-in to transfer the recording into CoolEdit and save as mp3.
