traditional church sound
Greetings from another freshly-minted, optimistic, but dangerously uneducated noob showing my face for the first time after a lot of reading through this forum for the past few days. Thanks in advance for your patience with yet another new guy trying to learn how to swim.

Recording grand piano in a church
I have to record my next classical solo piano recital (Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff) in a small-medium sized church, in which reverb could be a problem.
The piano will be a steinway concert grand and I have at my disposal 2 Neumann km 183 (omni) matched, 2 schoeps cmc5 mk4 (not matched) and 2 schoeps cmc5 mk 21 (not matched).

PA system for a church
Hi all,
I am looking at setting the sound system for a church. The size of the hall is not big, probably looking at an area (rectangular) of around 450 and can accomodate more than 300 but on average 100-150 people.
Church will have their own choir/band (singers, guitar, keyboard etc).

The choir will be on the altar of a (about) 800 seats church
standing in a semicircle / upside down U
