Soft Clipping

Anlybody knows goot Soft Clipping VST plugin ?
Because i had some strange peaks in a mix, maybe drumeer hit side of snare, something like this.

and this prervents me from making it LOUD.
i have f**ked pretty much with MB compressor to find this frequency, but it will affect my mix anyway, so Soft Clipping can helt, but i don't have such plugin :(

Chesky "Bonger Tests" clipping

Re track 25 "Bonger Test" on Chesky JD37 audiophile test disc, recorded by Bob Katz:

When played, even at low volume, I can hear distortion (clipping) in the -3 and -13dB tones. When I extract the audio file to my hard drive and examine with an editor, I can clearly SEE the clipping. (FYI, there is no clipping on track 26, the Bonger Test created with "standard A to D.")

Soft Clipping ?

applying a soft clipping plugin to the master of all tracks sounds
like good idea to me, to prevent any sound from causing distortion.
and when I do apply a soft clipper to the master, it does do this.
but i fear this process is what i would describe as "muffling"
or "dampening" the tracks over-all quality, or frequency range.

Reducing/smoothing digital clipping

i recorded a set on a MD and a slight digital clipping occured which sounds really clicky and sh*t. it mostly occurs when bassdrumm or bassline is kickin or some heavy mid range action. I checked the waveform and it looks like just plain square type clicking maybe thee is somekind of advanced declicking soft that smoothes these harsh square like clicks. anyone?
