Free Convolution Reverb with Lexicon 480
I have a limiter plug from this company, and came across this free convolution verb they offer. Seemed reasonable from the YouTube and useful for stylized 80s sounds from the vintage section. I wonder if any of the other ir's are useful. Im gonna give it a try. I like it has zero latency mode. Check it out if your interested.

Convolution reverb
Convolution reverb is a process used for digitally simulating reverberation. It uses the mathematical convolution operation, a pre-recorded audio sample of the impulse response of the space being modeled, and the sound to be echoed, to produce the effect. The impulse-response recording is first stored in a digital signal-processing system.

Convolution Reverb
I've been using convolution-based reverb more these days, as opposed to the stock verb plugs that come with progs like PT, Sonar, etc.
My convolution "player" is PerfectSpace, which allows me to import many different manufacturer's impulse files.

Altiverb vs. . TL Space? Anything better in the $500-1k range
I'm using Pro Tools LE and am looking to improve my reverb with a better VST/RTAS plugin . I've used Trueverb and R-verb alot, but am not too thrilled. I havent used anything better, but I know it's out there.
Is Altiverb or TL Space a decent step up? do I have other good options around $600? I believe Sony Oxford is another choice around $1k.

Hey...just wondering. I have just gotten into this convolution reverb stuff

Capturing my own impulses for convolution verb's
I want to get the reverberant sound of various locations in my house... but I cannot set up to record in these areas whenever I want. Does anyone know how to properly capture and apply impulse responses? Will I need a matched pair of mics?
