I have just purchased an iAudio5 MP3 player which has a line-input connector.

I intend to connect it to the line out from a mixer for recording of concerts etc.

Are there any applications that can be downloaded to run tests on the recording quality i.e SNR, frequency response, distortion etc?

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the outputs on the PreSonus Firebox are +4dB, and if I'll need a ReAmp to get the impedance correct if I want to run tracks back through an amp? I'm pretty certain they are at line, not instrument level.

I just upgraded to a MOTU 24io with the pci 424, software is SX3. I was using a Tascam us428 and what I would like to do is use my 428 for my control surface until I can afford something else. The issue is in my device selection I can choose one or the other not both. Has anyone ever tried running two ASIO devices?

My mate has a Mackie ONYX mixer with the firewire option.

I'm wondering if there's a device that will convert the firewire tracks into ADAT so I can use it with the DIGI001/2?

I am interested in getting a summing box as I want to send mulitple sends from my DAW. I don't want to mix in the box but I don't really want to get a mixer, namely for reasons of space and obsolete functions. Unfortunately summing boxes are so expensive.

Looking for a device to take speech(live), buffer it (perhaps up to ten minutes) then spit it out at at standard pitch after it is slowed down or sped up by the listener with a variable speed knob. I am currently using a Tascam US-122, and it works very well. Now that I have GB2 I can record up to 8 tracks at simultaniously. The US-122 affords me the ability to record two seperate track.
