I am starting a mobile recording studio business in my area. I am getting a custom trailer built that is 8'x24'x7.5'. My original plan was to build a 8'x14' live room and record real drums, but after doing some reading it seems like it might be difficult to get a good drum sound in such a small room.

I have definitely used this exact set up in the past, for the sake of thoroughness I'll try to be detailed.

Here is the situation: I have a electronic drumkit and an electric guitar. I am looking for a mixer that will allow me to play with my flatmate without bothering our neighboors. All I need is essencially to send in the two signals from the guitar and the drumkit and have two headphones outputs (or one that I can split).

Any suggestion about what I should buy?

i have Yamaha dtx express IV digital drums, and am trying to sync with Samplitude and abbey road 70's drums -vst (konkakt 5)

Does anyone have any tips for mixing drums 'The Sisters of Mercy' style? Trying to get that big, reverberant sound without it becoming too washed out

I know peeps here aren't HUGE into Adobe Audition, but I use CS6 and love it. Just wondering if any of you could throw some tips/tricks my way on what kind of mixing techniques or effects you use on snare/bass/overhead condenser for symbols, etc.
