Midi Drums..Snare changing pitch
So we laid down some drum tracks tonight.
V-Kit--->M-Audio INterface--->Cubase 5
I went back after the session and ran the tracks through EZ Drummer (I know- that's all I have at the moment) and I notice the pitch of the snare changes throughout the tune. It actually sounds like it has chorus on it.

How do you make MIDI Drums sound real?
I write my own drum beats and save them as MIDI files. What's the best way to get them sounding real and awesome (without using a real drum kit)?
I use SONAR X1 Studio on a Windows 7 32-bit O/S.
Do I need to be using something like BFD2 or Superior Drummer 2?
Any advice on this matter is welcomed. Thanks

How do you guys track your drums?
Hey everyone quick question. How do you normally track your drums in your DAW? I've been trying to figure out how to record drums for some time now. I've gotten the mic placement side down just need to figure out how to track it in my DAW. I normally use a Sure SM57 on the snare, an Audix D6 on kick, 3 Sennheiser E604's on toms, and two Sterling Audio's for overheads. So 7 mics in all.

mic and mixing drums
hello everyone, this is my first post.
I have a cheap Behringer xenyx 1222 fx usb. it's a cheap mix cause I don't have cash to get propper material right now.
My drum kit is a pearl forum seriez and I use Istanbul samatya cymbals.
I have a Shure pg 52 on the bass drum, 2 samson co2 for overheads and a Shure sm58 for the snare.

Seeking Advice on Drums to Tape, Then Back to DAW Workflow with Multiple PCs
Hi Everyone,
I'm new here. I'm no stranger to amateur home recording, but I finally have 10 or so songs recently written with voice and acoustic guitar that I'll be arranging/adding instrumentation to via my home setup this coming year. Here is my gear list:
Gear advice moving from DIing to recording drums & amps
I've been recording my band for a while now using my lounge as a studio, but that's caused some serious compromises - we've had to use an electronic drum kit and DI our guitars due to noise issues. I've nothing against recording this way, but it really doesn't suit our style of music, hence we've never been happy with our recorded sound.
recording drums... I really have no idea what to do
Hello everyone!
