Serious Cubase Tracking Errors - 8-track live recording

Hi,

I am recording 8 tracks live into Cubase SL2.0. Latest version, Mac Os 10.3.5, Edirol FA101 soundcard.

The problem is, that after a minute or so one of the tracks always randomly slips - i.e., misses a millisecond or two and then picks up recording with a lag behind the rest.

jv1080 bulk dump check sum error

I've got a Roland JV 1080 and recently for the the first time ever I got the message "Check Sum Error" when trying to reload a bulk dump I'd saved in my sequencer (Logic). The synth didn't respond to anything - it just kept flashing the message "Check SUm Error" so I eventually switched it off. Then when I switched it on again, the sounds were very strange i.e.

Paging file not set error

Each time I boot my computer I get an error message that the paging file is not set or too small.

This is new because when I setup the box I followed the WinXP tweak guide and set it. I think it was 512 min and max.

Now when I try to reset it, it will allow me to but when the computer reboots I get the same message and the paging file was not changed.

Pro-Tools DAE error-9060

I recentley started taking projects home from the studio to
mix on a G4 powerbook running 9.2 and Pro-Tools with an M-Box.I bring the project home on CD and then load it on
