so when I'm performing I'm getting feedback and i was just wondering if its worth buying a feedback eliminator, like does it really work or should i just buy something else.

Yamaha 2x400 watt powered mixer
2 fender wedge monitors(individual volume controls)
2 mics(not very good ones, they came with the system)

I have a question regarding a feedback. I have been doing sound for no longer than a couple of weeks and one of the problems I have been running into is that when Micing a person who speeking at a podium the mic is constantly feedingback. I can barely get the gain up at all and yet the mic keeps feeding back. The set up is as followed:

Hello, just got my first recording setup. My equip is a RODE NT1A, M-Audio DMP3, a Roland VS-880, M-audio powered monitors. The whole set up is in one room. I get a lot of feedback on both vocals and mic'd acoustic guitar. I am barely able to turn the gain up past 9am on the DMP3 and the same goes for the input sensitivity to the VS-880 channel.

Setting some equip, G5 2.0 gig and half mem.extra hard drive two monitors, Digimax lt, MOTU traveler, odds and ends. Should I go with logic 7 or digital performer 4.6. not a of lot money

Have Alesis audio monitors and mics, masterlink also. Help !

well i was thinking of persuing a dream, and getting myself into music.

I want to record lines and get the best quality possible, but i dont want to go to my local studio and pay their hourly rate of 100 dollars.
