I will be making a soundtrack eventually for a friend of mines novel and hope to connect with a few people to help me a little with the mixing processes. I have recorded and made mixes that sound good to me but I wasn't taking the mixing/mastering process seriously.

Does anyone know if there are plans to bring it back as I know many of you here took part there?

I want to add a few different styles for us. Maybe 3. This one, a dark one and a different one. Oh, and a special one just for the festive season.:)

NOTE: We are using XenForo so if you find a theme (style/skin) one that you particularly like, let us know by posting a link to it.

I sell vinyls for a living but used to make a point of MP3'ing every vinyl before posting it to the customer. I had a terrabyte external and literally had around 2 thousand vinyl rips - yup, you guessed it, the hard drive blew and I lost the lot.

I'm thinking about leasing an audio server for a dedicated mix forum.

We have enough members here that would support this. I would charge a monthly or yearly fee for those wanting to take part. On top of using it to share tracks for problem based learning (PBL), we could run mix contests every so often to really step it up. I know sponsors will support this.

Hi! I just got a permanent paid gig with a very well-known and established band. It's my first permanent gig since the 90's. I expect the band to be touring again constantly within a year. Yay for me!
