Has anyone had a chance to try the new Grace Design M201?
Opinions on performance / value?

Has anyone had a shootout with the Grace 801 and TRUE P8? I find a lot of info on each, but no one seems to be willing to make outright comparisons...

I'm new to this forum; have been reading posts for some time and found it very educational. I have a question, especially to those who have some experience recording voice-overs.

Hey I'm wondering if anyone's using Grace 801, Universal Audio 8110 or anything else like that (in 8 channel config) around that range. Any thoughts on how they sound/behave in different situations would be awesome.

I am a prosumer recordist sticking my toe in the sacred waters of real deal gear. I want to upgrade my fathers recording setup. He is a quite successful artist producing solo piano CDs. cocktailpiano.com

records his elegant playing on a bosendorfer 7 ft grand with a RODE nt1 a senny 421 through about a 350 ART preamp.

obviously time for a step up.

I have a Grace 101 model which I use in my home studio with the Studio Projects C1 mic. I find it to be a very clean mic preamp but I just checked the price of the Sebatron 1000 and all these great reviews got me curious... how would these two mic preamps compare ?

I am considering the purchase of a Grace Lunatec V3 two channel preamp with A/D converter. I am currently using a Demeter preamp and the Grace would be a very different beast. I am using a TC Gold Channel (which I got for a great price) as my AD converter (24 bits, 48 Khz) and going to an M-box.

I was wondering if there's a difference in the sound quality between the Grace amps. I know that there are differences between the 101 and the others, but it this significant from an audio perspective?
