Description

The ME-1NV (single channel mic preamp) greatly modernizes and improves classic British design. This desktop (and rackable) preamp offers the same definitive sonic fidelity and expert craftsmanship as all Great River products. Transparency and vintage harmonic structure are both achieved with NV-Series preamps.

Integrating Voiceworks with Great River ME-1NV and FMR RNC to Saffire Pro 24 Dsp

ive had the Great River hooked up with the fmr using the patch jack.

but now where does the voiceworks go?

and what wiring do i need and how to hook it up?

I'm relatively new when it comes to external gear and routing so help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it worth adding Great River ME-1NV to my pres?

Hi,

I run a small home studio which is mainly setup to record vocals. My current preamps are UA Solo610, Focusrite ISA One digital and PreSonus Eureka.

I been using forums for quite a few years now and everyone seems to rave about the Great River ME-1NV preamp as being something quite special!

Which Pre to compliment a Great River ME-1NV (Pacifica vs Daking)?

Hi All!

I'm looking for a pre that's not quite as dark as the Great River with a little more high end. Something that will give a nice presence to my vocals that has a vibe and is not too sterile/clean.

Which would compliment my Great River ME-1NV...Pacifica or Daking Pre/EQ...or something else?

My mics are Soundelux 251c and SM7. My vox is male rock/pop.

Brauner Phantom C vs Neumann TLM49 & GR ME1NV vs John Ha

Forums

I try to find a "perfect match" for voice-overs, narration, spoken word stuff in terms of choosing right mic with appropriate preamp. My choice is narrowed to those mics and preamps mentioned in title. Phantom C & GR ME1NV / Neum TLM49 & j.Hardy M1-or other way around ..? And unfortunatly I can't try those by myself.

Any help is more than welcome.

Cheers,

Sven
