Hellatone vs. Celestion Vintage 30
Ive recently been wanting to build my own 212 cabinet, and fill it with some nice speakers that have a really crisp low end clean for recording. Ive researched a bit, and i really cant decide which of these i should roll with.
Does anyone have any opinions?

Question about drum machine into guitar amp
Hi,
I've been running a Roland 707 through an Orange OR80 guitar head, into an 4x10 Ampeg bass cab, to get some crunch on the drum machine.
I've been using the 'Hi' input on the amp.

Should one replace a guitar amp speaker with a bass amp speaker?
I have a guitar amplifier which I do not use, and I want to convert it into a bass combo amplifier. What if I want to switch out the guitar speaker with a bass speaker? Where would I buy one? Are there any considerations for this type of speaker transfer? If so, where can I purchase a 12 inch bass speaker? Are there any speakers which are better than others?

Forgetting the mic and plugging a guitar amp straight into an audio interface?
I've been trying to record my guitar, and it sounds very buzzy. I've been reading a bunch of threads here and elsewhere and found that backing off on the gain can help, but I tried that (gain down to about 25% of max), but that didn't seem to help much.
Custom Rackmount Guitar Amplifiers
Does anybody know of anybody who builds, reverse engineers, or shoehorns guitar amplifiers into a rack space?
I'm currently wowed by a Fender Super Rack 60, which I've had in the studio for ages. I plugged into it last night as I was jamming in the room its based in, and my Cornford got a microphonic valve.

Making a guitar amp... ( Using a Rack?)
Okay, so I am wanting to make a guitar amp, but not with a DIY kit. I just want to buy, for instance the top of a combo amp (Idk what it is called), a speaker, and make a housing for it all and put som finish on the housing. My friend has done this, and he got away with it for about $50 and it is an amazing amp.
