Hi, I'm getting a Boss recorder from my guitar teacher but he doesn't have the manual to go with it. I was wondering where online i could find an instructional manual for it. I'm sorry i don't know the model yet but it's not the Br-900/1200/or 1600; it's an older model.

Hi there, I'm just after some advice on a computer based home recording set-up.

99% of the time i do multitrack recording and just do one track at a time. At the moment I'm using only a Tascam US-122 and just going directly in from my guitar/bass whatever into the us-122 and record using cubase.

i am a home recording musician and i would like to buy a decent mic preamp.
I use Shure KSM27 mic, a mixing console and M-Audio fast track pro. All i need now is a decent mic preamp. Can you make me some suggestions on some pieces worth buying that cost up to $500?

I am looking to get back into recording. Back in highschool i use to do a lot of messing around, but VERY basic; fruityloops, cheap microphone, acid pro (just to put the instrumental and then the vocals together) and thats about it. It didnt sound that bad, but it wasnt the quality that i would of like to make. Anyways, i am a beginner at some of this stuff.

i'm new to the site and new to the recording game. i am a guitar player who has finally decided to start a home studio. my main concerns are recording good gtr tracks and good vocal tracks right now.

Hey i'm currently *planning* on putting together a PA system, but I also want a little setup to lay down some tracks. I'm interested in the Mackie Onyx 1640 because of the obvious. I could use it for my PA and use the firewire card and lay down 16 tracks.

I am new to this discussion group. I am also new to this concept of "home recording"...

I recently bought m-audio 1814 firewire audio interface with the idea in mind of recording my electric guitar, singing over it, adding some drums and bass...etc. and basically developing and playing with some ideas.

Ableton live lite version was complementary to m-audio.
