Tascam 1800 USB interface for my home studio
Hello, I need to buy a new interface for my home studio- Normaly things get done one track at a time. but at times a multi track jam would be very helpful. Amazon has two very bad reveiws on this piece of gear. But, they sound like the engineers aren't really pros. Not one of them mentioned Pro Tools 9 or how well this works with that platform.

Help with monitors for a home studio
Hello.
So I'm a home-recording guy, and I've been mixing on my home theater/hi-fi system so far. However, in the last few weeks I've been feeling that the frequency response of the speakers isn't flat. In fact, I checked the FFT plot and heard my work on a range and I realized I was mostly right, and because of the nonflat frequency response I wasn't mixing my songs well.

Looking to build my own home studio, need help!
Hey guys, so I record most of my music out of my old home studio that was owned by my brother (all of the equipment was his) so I didn't really have to worry about any of the actual equipment... up until last night when I got the news that he's moving the remainder of his stuff.
