Need a better way to interface my head and cab.
OK, so as a few of you might know from reading other threads, I just got a new Mesa 4x12 and it's beastly. My amp has only a single 4Ohm out and when I plug it into one of the Mesa's 4 Ohm jacks the cab only plays on one side. One jack per side. 8Ohm jack plays all four speakers at once, but sounds like sloppy butt because of the mismatched impedance.
New Interface - Need Help Choosing One
So I used to have an Alesis IO26 Firewire Interface which worked great... until I got logic 9. Now the Alesis isn't compatible at all and I need to find a new interface. I've been looking but I can't find any that separate phantom power into 2 channel blocks as opposed to 4 channel blocks.

Long story short, I am recording voice-overs so I need a USB PC friendly interface. I'll be using a Shure SM7B (client request), so I need something with quality, low noise, high gain pres. One (or two) channels is fine.

MIDI hw interface for PC? for Mac?
Greetings -
I have a Roland F-90 digital piano that I'd like to record.
Can anyone suggest an inexpensive hardware interface would allow me to record into
i) a WinXP PC running Audacity?
ii) a Macbook or Mini running, say, GarageBand?
Thanks.

Need USB Audio/MIDI interface for Mac/Logic
I've been using digirack 002 through firewire 400 for years and been working fine on macbook pros but being a mac buff, I'm going to want a newer macbook pro eventually, which means no firewire 400. Definitely not the only one with this problem. But at the same time, I'm getting sick of digidesign's core audio problems and updating indifference.

Digitial clipping in Interface - Firestudio 26/26
This is a new issue that has reared its ugly head a few times.
Here is the signal chain:
Kick > Beta52 > Focusrite ISA 428 > PreSonus Firestudio (Insert Ch1) > PC (Cubase SX3). I run an XLR > 1/4" from the 428 to the FS insert.
Firewire interface?

USB interface w/o preamps
I have been using a EMU 0404 USB interface for awhile now but I recently bought a PreSonus Studio Channel which has a sweet preamp in it. I no longer really need the EMU because I don't like stacking preamps but I will still need the USB connectivity.
Can someone show me the way to just a simple USB interface I can come out of my PreSonus into then go into the computer?
