Audio Level Troubles?
I recorded an hour-long podcast featuring two people speaking (each person is recorded onto a separate track, if it makes a difference) and the levels are all out of whack - sometimes people are shouting, other times people are speaking at barely above a whisper. Is there any sort of software out there that will equalize the audio levels so that it is one consistent block of audio?

How low can you go(on the levels when recording acoustic guitar)
I am Micing an acoustic guitar with 2 condensor mics(not the greatest, but fair), using an ART Tps II 2 channel preamp, and a Korg D888. In the past I felt I have recorded with the levels too loud, not peaking, but with the gain high enough that it creates a guitar tone that is far from what I desire. I have found at lower levels the tone is more natural and warmer.
Level matching - Searched - Cant Find What Im Looking For
Hi all -
Levels for Samples
If you are mixing down individual riffs and phrases for an audio program in which the user could select a guitar or keyboard part etc. to mix into their music, how warm do you want the levels?
Do you normalize it so it peaks at or almost zero db? Or would you want to leave several db headroom? Any input from you pros greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Matching levels on LA-2A's
Aside from stereo linking my LA-2A's, The gain and reduction knobs are different from each other. Its annoying and not a problem but I like things to looks exact and be calibrated to reflect a similar setting.
I know, no two LA-2A is alike but ... rather than lossening off the knob screws and resetting them, are the trim adjustments front and back for this?

Recording levels
I record live orchestral concerts using a Tascam DR-100 and Tandy/Realistic PZMs. I have to use these mics for various reasons including the layout of the venue and the need to carry both musical instrument and recording gear. Mics have 1/4 inch jacks and are connected to the DR-100 using XLR adapters. Recording settings WAV, 16 bit, 44.1 sampling frequency.

Hopefully quick and easy question to answer regarding record levels
Hello all,
Reliable mid level headphone extension
hey i've been running into problems consistently (no signal, cutouts, jumpy side to side, static) with my current heaphone extensions, just looking for a decent 20' or 25' extensions 1/4"f 1/4"m. Going to replace the 8 current extensions. Looking to keep it around 20 bucks a piece.
