best rack mount line mixer
I'm looking into getting a line mixer that I can rack mount below my workstation desk. I will only be used as a monitor mixer and an input signal router into two ART Pro Channels into a MOTU 828mkII. The mixing is all done internally with CueMix console and the MOTU's inputs acting as an aux patchbay so mic preamps and EQs are not an issue.

Roland M160 Line Mixer
Hello,
I found a Roland M160 Line Mixer on Ebay at a decent price. I cannot find any literature on the product. Has anyone used this mixer that can give me some feedback on it. I would be using it mainly for keyboard i/p's.
Regards,
mIchAEl

Out of Inputs -Need a Line Mixer
I have a Mackie D8B and a huge synth/sampler setup and along with returning effects and compressors I am totally out of inputs. The D8B gives me 48 ins but the instruments are all stereo so I'm maxed out. I need to find a very high quality line mixer that I can use to bring things back into the board. I don't want it to take up too many rack spaces. Somewhere between 1 and 4 would be cool.

Simple line mixers other than Speck?
Still searching for the affordable durable quality mixer setup, needs to be muy portable. I need good quality mic preamps, which may not come with a mixer meeting the other criteria, so I'm looking at line mixers. The Speck looks like a class act, but way too many little awkward concentric knobs and cramped controls. Amazing routing possibilities.

Console as in-line mixer only
Like most of us here I have been building my gear arsinal for some time. I now have a really fine collection of mics, preamps, compressors, equalization, and a/d/a conversion. So the time has come to get rid of the weakest link in the chain, that wink leak being the mixing console.
