How often do you get a tax write-off for a business trip to Rome / a seminar on a VERY timely topic / so many noteworthy keynote speakers?

There's no way I can go, but maybe some of you would like to attend - and had not heard about it yet.

I listen to tracks on SoundCloud and everyone's stuff is really loud. With my stuff I have to turn up my speakers. What are people using? Waves MultiMaximizer? Are they adding C4 compression to individual tracks?

I have been reading about how to record and master music. I played all instruments and recorded a song in my little 14' x 14' studio. I have been using Sonar 8.5 for 3 months. I posted this song last week, but everyone here said that it was very muddy, so I have been working on it this week.

My question is:

How loud should it be, or should it not be?

Interesting that they used the opening bits of McCartney's "Figure of Eight". (LOVE this tune, and the CD - Flowers in the Dirt; McCartney arguably at some of his post-Beatles best songs & production, IMHO.)
