Anyone using E-MU 0404 or M-Audio 2496
My current setup is kind of weird, I record on a PC in my Basement (my Mixer, 1-Layla and Insturments are there) and then send the file over my network to my DAW 2 floors up in a spare bedroom. I have a second Layla on the DAW just to drive my monitors and to add vocals and the occasional MIDI track.

NI Battery, pro tools with an m-audio radium. need help.
i'm having a hard time figuring this out.
i'm simply trying to load up battery as a plugin in Pro Tools and be able to use my midi keyboard to trigger the samples.
m-audio bx8 construction?
this also applies to any lower end monitor. has anyone ever notices how much cabinet resonance these things have? has anyone ever disassembled them and added and sort of internal bracing or dampening to the cabinets in their monitors? what about upgrading the tiny tiny gauge speaker wire inside?

Simple software to use with my M-audio firewire.
I'm having a hard time getting started with digital recording.
But I aint giving up. If there's a real simple easy to use program
that I can use with my m-audio that would be great.
There's gotta be one thats user friendly for the newbe.
Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks.

M-Audio Radium 49 and Pro Tools
Hi everyone,
I recently converted from Cubase over to Pro Tools LE. I own a M-Audio Radium USB Keyboard, it ahs 8 sliders and 8 knobs, I was wondering if there was anyway to get Pro Tools to recognize it to be used as a controller, and use them to control faders? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
Ben

M-Audio 2496 Behringer mixer Behringer 3021a
I've just put together some recording equipment and was wondering a little about this. The M-Audio 2496 soundcard has RCA jacks, should I run rca cables from those jacks to the tape in on my Behringer mixer or should I user converters to go from rca to line inputs or XLR or something like that? I'm running from the mixer to the 3021a's. thanks for any help.

A/D quality of VX Pocket vs. . M-Audio Flying Cow?
Hi, haven't been here in ages. Everythings changed!
I am putting together a budget laptop DAW with a vx pocket card for location recordings.
Does anyone have any opinions on the quality of A to D conversion on the vx pocket versus that of the M audio Flying cow & flying calf A/D converters (they are budget boxes)?
