Note Pad for mac OSX, anyone?
I just switched to Mac OSX. On mac OS 9, I was using the Note Pad to keep track of all my PT session back ups. It was quick and easy.
Mac OSX does not support it.
Do you have any idea if there's any software (something unexpensive) that would allow me to import my 1500 Note Pad pages?
Thank you

Looking for an EQ (Mac user)
Hi there.
Some time ago, I read, somewhere, about an EQ plugin . With that plugin , you can load a song and "copy" its EQ settings to your own song, so that you don't need to do it manually. Do you know about a plugin (or software) that could do this? I'm using Cubase SX 1.0.51 for Mac.
Thank you!

Mac IBook vs. . XP Desktop
Ok, I have an XP Home desktop with 512mb of Ram, two hard drives...it's a decent machine to run Cubase SX 2.0 and my Tascam FW1884. Since it is Windows...this machine can be pretty unstable. Anyways, I wanted to a get laptop (Mac G4 IBook) to do some live recording and I was planning on getting a fast external firewire drive. Now here is my question.

Basic Tracks w/Mac (Pro Tools LE or TDM)
Hello RO,
I have been given some Macintosh hardware (Dual 2GHz) G5 and have decided that this machine would be perfect for running Pro Tools.
Looking to build out a simple either 8x8 or 16x16 in/out studio around this machine.

Roland SPD-S/Compact Flash Card/Mac Software
Hi folks.
Today I will be receiving a brand spankin' new Roland SPD-S. This is a cool little percussion controller with onboard sounds and built-in ability to sample.
It also has expandability using a flash card. From what I understand you can bring in pre-recorded samples via the flash card.
