are there any precautions which need to be taken when using a fender deville 4x10 with a 4x12 marshall cab (1960a)?

This may be a stupid question. I understand where to hook it up on the back of my amp but where do i hook it up to my recorder. Do i put the line directly into either input A or B? I mean instinctively this seems like what i should do but I'm paranoid about hooking up my 100 watt jcm 900 to it out of fear of blowing it up or something.

Does anybody out there have a Marshall SE 100? I have read only good things about them.
JBsound said to try the Groove Tubes Speaker emulator. I like that suggestion, I just wanted to see which one is better? I read on the internet that the Marshall SE100 was designed by the folks at Groove Tubes. Is this true?

will there be any problems if you use a mesa amp with a marshall cab?

I have been messing around with my Mode 4 for a long time now and still am not getting the tone i really want. AMp 1 (clean and crunch modes) seem to be to hollow sounding with no character. Where as Amp 2 (OD1 and OD2) seem to have almost too much low-end and thickness and fuzz. I dont use any pedals, I plug staright in and go.

DSL50 comes with two channels.. classic and ultra - which are footswitchable.

However each channel has two settings:
Classic - Clean/Crunch
Ultra - Lead1/Lead2

s'been a while, and today I come to ask.. why is my amp rattling?

I just purchased this microphone and it says that it requires phantom power. First I want to ask would it work if I just plugged it into my computer. And I brought a mixer that has the two red and white inputs on it and I want to hook it up to my computer, does anyone know how to do this?
