I am Marcos a mixing and mastering engineer from Brazil and actually I use Mac for mixing and mastering, but in the future I will go with a Windows notebook, because in the same computer my Pro Tools 12 opens with Windows and doesn't with OS X, I am convinced Windows is better, but there is a problem, mastering software.

I used to own wavelab for mastering. Unfortunately it's not compatible with my new computer and I'm not shelling out $500 for an upgrade. I've been using Nuendo multi-track for mastering. Any of you do the same? Use your multitrack software for mastering?

I'm in the market for mastering software that is comprehensive and will allow me to take 24 bit stereo recordings from my DAW to final production level (red-book compliant) broadcast ready, final CD format (I am term dumb). I've read almost all the mastering posts on this forum and realize that everyone warns against me doing this and that I Must go to a professional mastering studio.

Im going to be opening a recording studio in the near future, and cant decide on what mastering software to use.
I have PT 10 NOT HD and a C24 board. I have Apogeeinterfaces and b2 bomber converters.

I havn't been on the forum for a while but I now have a set of tracks I want to master to CD. I was thinking about getting either Wavelabs Essential 7 or Sony CD Architect 5.2 to 'Red Book' master.

Any thoughts on either or other suggestions?

What is a good proffessional mastering (authoring) software for Mac, that can handle all aspects of making the final master and save in most used formats? I need it to handle CD Text, ISRC codes, EAN or UPC code etc. I use Roxio Jam now but I dont think Roxio makes Jam anymore. New Toast can do the ISRC and CD text, but not make a DPP image, and the CD-plant dont want a Toast image.

I'm considering recording audio in the DSD format and would like to know how I transfer the recorded files to files that are put on an SACD. My searches on the internet have not revealed much software that do this (whatever the reason for that?)

Hey RO'ers it's been a long time, does anybody out there use Izotope Ozone Mastering software? If so would you be willing to share your authorization code with me so that I an use the demo version? I am a struggling producer and just can't afford to buy the product right now. So if you would be willing to help a brother out I would greatly appreciate it.
