Hi guys and girls, it's been a while... good to be back. So, after a long recording road I finally have the money to purchase gear to record drums.

Hey all. I am new to the forum and even though I have been playing guitar and drums for a while I am new to recording. Anyway, I was looking into picking up this mic kit to help record drum tracks for my music

Has anyoone heard or checked out their Mic upgrade kits? Basically, you take a low end mic and change the guts out and they produce a mic comparable to a high-endNeumann mic for a lot less money. You have to do the soldering and labor, but is it worth it ? They got some great reviews.
