How do you fix mistakes when recording in a DAW?
Im using sonar, and whenever I set punch in/out I get a clicking sound at those points, when I overwrite the audio file.
How do I fix this? And how those this relate to Snap to grid function?
Im a complete newie at this, please help.
Mixing mistakes: Problem with high-frequency build-up
All of my tracks are composed of synths, VSTi's, vox and guitar, and always ITB. There is always a harshness to my completed work that I have trouble avoiding. I'm aware of it, always, and almost never boost any of my eq's.

Learning from one's mistakes
Do you ever find that only AFTER you are finished with a mix and are in no position to alter it that you begin to find flaws you would have undoubtedly changed? The most common mistakes?
I'd love to know what the pro's here, consider the most common mistakes that they hear new and inexperienced engineers making. Also what's the worst recording of a big name act you've heard? Sorry if this has been discussed before. I did do a search, but it's a difficult one to get the right keywords for.
