Prism ADA-8XR multi-channel modular AD/DA converter
This is definitely on my wish list for next year. Thanks for pointing me to this Greener.
Its pricy ( 13,305.00) but looks like it has everything one would want in a high-endconverter. Take those Cubase or Sonar DAW systems to a new level.
Has anyone had any experience with this beauty? Is there anything else out there that comes close to the ADA-8XR?

Under $600 multi-channelDigital input what would you choose?
So here is what I think my choices are. I am some what limited by the operating system I run and mostly by my budget. I just need more inputs to my computer. I was wondering if anyone would give their opinion on this. Which one of these do you think is better?
Multiple channels to drum track?
I have been setting up a studio over the past few months, and I've got good instruments as well as mics and amps now, but I have a question regarding recording multiple channels at once.

Multi-channel Data Aquisition
I am getting a little frustrated with the tools at my disposal for recording multi-channel audio. We use a Lynx Aurora/AES16 for our top gigs and a Mackie Onyx for lesser jobs.

What multi-channel preamp should i get
Hey i'm ordering my new 24" iMac soon than will come the digi 002 rack. I'm just not sure how the multi-channel preamp works with the 002 can anyone sum that up for me? What does it need to have/do? Also which would you recommend on a budget. The guy at my local pro audio store recomended a prosonus one not the firepod but another one that was 1300 bucks which is way to high for me.

Multi-Channel Comp/Gate
Hello!
I'll consider investment in a multi-channel compressor/gate system. What comes to mind is the PreSonus ACP88 : http://www.PreSonus.com/acp88.html
Since I have no pressing hurry for the same, I'll hold on if there are better products that will be worth investing in. Im looking at both Studio and Live use.

multi-channel mic preamps...
... as a console replacement for in-the-box-mixing - what do you pros recommend or what pres have you heard about?
preferably at least 8 channels, quality before bargain!
i have the impression the market is lacking such devices in proportion to the number of DAW-users.
or am i just badly informed?

multi-channel mic preamp-amp decision
hey guys, i'm new to the board and you all seem like a helpful bunch. I'm currently using a digi001 as my interface.
what I'm looking for (budget of $300-$600):
8-channel mic preamp
no need for on-board dynamics
a noticeable sound quality upgrade from the pre's of my digi001

Best Multi-Channel Mic Pre?
Hey everyone. I'm looking for the best mic preamp I can get for the best price, but i'm having some trouble finding some that don't take up a whole rack space. Once I can afford it i'll go out and buy some better pres, but I am looking for something that'll sound great, and maybe have 2 or 4 mic preamps in one unit.
