Neve VR 60 EQ section Q

Hi all.

It's been quite a while since I was behind a VR - can someone set me straight on the EQ section? IIRC, the freqs (bands) are:

33 - 370
190 - 2k
800 - 8.7k
1.5 - 17

I was hoping that someone who knows better than I can either confirm that, or set me straight. Don't worry about the Q and the shelving.

Thanks in advance.

Thoughts on Neve 55 series Broadcast console for tracking and summing.

I'm looking at a 42 channel Neve for my studio, price is very reasonable for a Neve.I realize this console is designed for broadcast.Having no automation means it's crippled in a mixdown situation, but is there a possibility of adding Necam,or Flying faders?Hows the mix bus?How do the pres and EQs sound compared to other used boards in the 10-15 grand range.would I be better off buying a new Alle

Rupert Neve Designs 542 Tape Emulator

Well, not really emulation. Apparently there is a small loop of tape and an actual record and playback head in this thing. So, it's like a small tape saturator. Interesting. At first I thought "this is very cool". Then I thought, at $750 each I could probably by an actual 16 track ATR for the price of just a couple of these(ok, maybe three or four).
