I've got a promblem recording. I'm recording with a Mbox to my G4powerbook with my Shure ksm27. the mike recording is super! but the sound on the 2nd source plug that the guitar is going into on the Mbox no matter what i seem to do there is a buzzing noice. the goal is to be able to have clear sound without that buzzing so i don't have to take it out later.

I need to find some good noise reduction plugins that dont just lower decible levels and smooth the audio over. i need some pro noise reduction plugins, I'm willing to hear any of your suggestions

Could you suggest something here? I have to make a CD from tape for commercial release. It's classical piano. The original tape was recorded using dbx noise reduction :roll: , so after decoding all quiet passages have kinda poooofs--you know what I mean. Is there any way to get of rid of that?

is this mastering software any good? if not can someone refer a good mastering software around the same price as the CDe architect

Okay, they say I can't use DiNR with Pro Tools LE. Any suggestions out there? Just got offered a short film job and the sound is [explitive deleted] HORRIBLE! It's about 18 db below nominal level and eq, gating, etc. just won't cut it on the sample piece they gave me. HELP!

I have been using Sound Forge 6.0 and the Sonic Foundry Noise Reduction 2.0 plugin . Does anyone have experience with other noise reduction plugins that they prefer?

Does anyone have recommendations for the best noise reduction software or plugins?

I have some old cassette recordings that I did in India in the mid 70's and there's lots of hiss, etc.

I've got a Mac G4 + Logic Audio Platinum, currently running OS 9.2.2 until all the extra goodies are available in OS X.

I have an oppurtunity to buy a system of Telcom C4 noise reduction units. (It's not the kind of deal that I can try them out, and then decide if I want to buy.) Does anybody have any experience with these? Almost everything on the web that I can find is in German. I am curious to know how the sound compares to the various dolby Noise reduction units.
