SONY Sound Forge: How to Adjust Pitch to a Backing Track?
In SONY Sound Forge, I'm using the Pitch Bend effect to make many adjustments to a vocal track, but I need to SIMULTANEOUSLY listen to the backing instrumental track to ajust the vocal. How can I listen to 2 audio tracks at the same time while adjusting only one of them?

Pitch correction...
Is it possible, using Autotune or another similar software, to manually change notes on a vocal track? Not just minor correction... I'm talking extreme vocal makeover. Like taking a vocalist who can sing only half of notes or less in tune, and making them sound as though they sang every note on tune.

Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 - playback pitch, tempo of guitar is distorted
Hello,
I am using cakewalk home studio 2002 to record my guitar through a microphone that is plugged directly into the sound card in back of my pc and there is some sort of problem because when I play the track back the pitch and tempo of the guitar is distorted. I recorded a short 50 second track and made it into an mp3 file so you can hear what I am talking about.
help.. weird sound from monitors (high pitched owww)
Here is the set up:
mac
m-audio profire 2626

When I have no programs running, this weird sound does not occur but as soon as I open Logic I get this sound:

Melodyne Pitch Correction vs. . Antares Auto-tune
I am interested in purchasing a pitch correction device for my Pro Tools system.
I have used the demo versions of both programs and like them both quite a bit.
I would like to know other people's opinions on the two programs and which one would be the best buy.
thanks.
