I'm a beginner in music but play with some quite experienced musicians. None of them are vocalists but one owns a Peavey XR 684 PA system. We only cover songs, mostly classic rock.

I'm having a problem with these 2 pieces of equipment together. When i have the boss GT8 running with the amplifier it creates a muffling sound almost like the input is too strong causing the sound. How ever I asked on GT8 site and they said to lower the volumes and nothing really changed and it's still the same...

okay everyone i have been using a Lexicon lambda with Cubase le and it's been amazing so far. the thing is though that i want to be able to record more tracks at the same time. i was looking at getting a peavey pv 14usb but i dont know how many tracks you can record at the same time or if it would work with Cubase le. any help would be great. oh and my computer is an HP dv6244 laptop.

I was out replacing an old crate head and cabinet the other day and I must have spent 4 hrs in a few different stores and tried out anything 50W and up. Anything and EVERYTHING!

First of all, I am new to recording and just doing it for personal use. I have been plugging my guitarmic into the single input of my soundcard and recording single tracks. I do not plan to do anything serious but just experimenting.

I've got a pair of Peavey HKS-8 Studio Monitors. I've had them for quite a while but really only used them in the last month. Currently I've got them running off the main out on a Behringer EURORACK UB1202. I use them mainly for playback for editing, voice overs and guitar recording. So far they have been great.

I recently bought a mic and now i need to amplify my voice. The mic is a Shure Beta 58A. Since I spent good money on it, I'd like to have good voice amplification.

if I pick one of these up,is it best to switch out the tubes with others?what other tubes?

Any comments on this dual tube preamp w/ tube eq? I have an opportunity to purchase but will not have a chance to try it first.
