I'm seriously looking into getting the vmp-2000. I currently live in Ireland. But could be moving to the US in 2 years time and I'm wondering how difficult it is to change the transformer?

Whats the best and cheapest way to order one for me here in Ireland :)

I'm looking for recommendations on a uninterruptible power supply
for my studio. Also,should a UPS be plugged into the power conditioner or should it be the other way around?

Recently, my boss discovered an Orban/Parasound 621b Parametric EQ in storage that slipped through the cracks in bookeeping (we didn't know we had it, and there was no record that we did other than the unit itself).

We'd like to check it out and see how it sounds, except we can't locate a power supply anywhere.

Hi guys, just got the new Dell. It's only so far come out of the box to get sound card and software installed at the music store.

Anyway, before I go plugging it into my wall, is it important to get a good power bar, or some such device that helps control power spikes, or is it all a moot point as the machine converts it into 24V DC anyway?

Is the power supply located inside the unit or is the power supply expernal on these preamps?

So there's one and only one thing in the studio here that introduces ground hum.

A power supply for a tube mic.

Everything's on one isolated circuit BTW.

A 3 to 2 prong ground lift adapter will silence this nutty piece o' hummin gear, but is it safe? (This mic will be used for a D/I'd electric guitarist who will be simulaneously playing and singing).

Heelo, does anyone know where we can get a power supply for an allen & heath SR8 mixer ? Doesn't have to be original equipment, anything that works.

I recently bought an old Allen & Heath System 8 1616, sixteen track mixer for decently cheap because it didn't have a power supply. After asking around online I figured it would be about $100 to $200 to either buy a replacement or have one built, the schematics are available.

I'm thinking about buying an Allen & Heath 16 channel System 8 board for decently cheap, but it has no power supply. Does anyone know about getting one replaced, or built. I'm in atlanta, any ideas what an electronics repair shop might charge for something like that?
