I'm very new to home recording.

I got this firepod and I'm interested in hooking up a Eureka soon..

I've looked at the inputs and outputs on both.

How do you go about connecting these 2 units so they work together?

Any advice please. I have narrowed my pre-amp selection down to these two : Focusrite Voice Master Pro or a PreSonus Eureka.

Which would be the better to choose or not to choose and why?

I recently finished a session using acoustic guitars,via the Sebatron 2000e,and,PreSonus Eureka.
I must say----Im not all that upset that I purchased the Eureka,

I've been looking at the PreSonus Eureka for a front end preamp to My Firepod, applications would be vocals, acoustic and electric guitars drums bass and whatever else.

Anybody have good or back feedback on this unit?

The VXP seems more suited for vocals, but it doesn't have the "saturate" feature that the Eureka has that supposedly adds tube warmth.

I'm looking for a good preamp setup to record vocals...

The VXP gives me an expander and a de-esser, but the Eureka seems to offer a better equalizer and the saturate warmth.

Looking for any Eureka users out there--Im expecting mine here shortlyany suggetions about the unit,ideas,what to look out forand so on.

Well Kurt,I took youre advise and located a PreSonus Eureka,new in box,with free shipping and a free SM57,or a Joemeek JM27 condensor,for 499.00.

Has anyone in here used, or reviewed this strip? I have read reviews on it and they all seem good, a little too good you know what i mean.
