Does anyone know when there might be professional reviews on sites like Cnet, PC mag or wherever, for the new Mac Pro. They have reviewed the iMac, Mac Mini, but haven't done the Mac Pro.

I've been using PT6.9 Le for a long time. It was doing what I wanted it to do. I am aware of the drawbacks of both the hardware and the software, but rather than move to another DAW and upgrade my interface, I decided to stand pat with PT and the 002Rack and keep improving my mic and preamp collection.

Anyone have any input on the Electro-Voice pl33, its in one of their drum packages, but it's available for like 120 on zzounds and musicians friend.

I can't find anything about them online.

Looks like they just came out last year. No one seems to know anything about them, but they are cheaper then the 52a and the PG52.

Right now I'm looking at picking it up for its price, versatility in pick up pattern, SPL range (155db max SPL I believe), and because I like the sound of AKG mics. I've worked briefly with the perception 200 and I'm wondering how this one differs, if it does at all.
