So I picked up a Ramsa WR-T820 recently and boy do I love it. The preamps sound nice and fat especially when they are pushed. I've been using it with a DAW set up but recently have been experimenting with recording directly to Tape and I would like to patch in Outboard effects like a reverb tank and a compressor. The board appears to be set up for effects.
So last weekend I was fortunate enough to drive down to Jacksonville, Fla. and pick up this Ramsa WR-T820 console from our own Moonbaby. I'd like to thank him for setting me up with this beast and putting me into another chapter of recording/engineering, which has really grown as a passion for me. Thanks Moon!

I am currently looking at used recording consoles that could be used to mix down a whole band in rehearsals.
An 8 bus desk would be great, as it will be feeding into my Yamaha AW1600 for the moment. This records 8 tracks simultaneously.
Is there anyway to cheat another aux out of a consloe, it would be nice to have another effect send ..
Well I pulled the trigger last night on the Bay..
And landed a Ramsa WR-T820..
I remember Reading on here that someone said they were a nice hidden secret in console and could get the cheap..Well cheap was just what I got it for...
Hey everyone. quick question, does anyone, know, what the value of the Ramsa, WR811 would be worth, when, they first came out? this board, has 18 balanced inputs, 4 buses, sweepable eqs 8 and 12 k on the highs, and 60 and 180 on the lows. 2 sends per channel. etc
well here's the biggest question for my DAW studio so far...after deciding that to be taken seriously as a commercial studio i would need an analog desk, i realised i don't know that much about them.

I heard they (Ramsas in gerneral) are pretty cool for the price, any one have any comments?
I've been looking at the older soundcrafts (6000, 1600 etc) and Soundtracs Topaz desks as well.
Hey guys, I am curently in the market for atleast a 16 channel mixer for recording purposes only. Want something with decent mic preamp's, direct outs, tape in's, atleast 4 aux sends. Not sure if I want to go digital, might not be in my budget. Looking to spend 1k to 1,500.
