need repair guy philadelphia area - neotek series 1
I run a studio in the philadelphia area called gradwell house recording - gradwellhouse.com
We have 6 channels of Neotek Series 1 preamps racked and 2 of the channels are giving us some issues.
We are looking to find a tech in our area to take a look at them.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Dave
Where to repair?
I have a Sony PCM 601 ESD DA processor which after 20 years of rugged, daily use has fizzled out. Can anyone suggest a place to reliably fix this wonderful relic? I have many Beta masters that are useless without it. I need a specialist. HELP

Sony C-38 - One Noisy, Good Repair Service?
I have a paid of Sony C-38 FET mics, and one has gone about 6db noisier than the other. Same shape to the noise floor, just higher level. Anyone have experience with a good person to go over these and make a repair?

dbx160 repair
Hi All!
Anybody got any referals for the repair of my dbx160VU?
I seem to lose lots of gain in the middle of takes.
My chain is the usual mic preamp>eq>compressor>recorder input.
Am pretty sure its the 160 as the gain loss never happens when I'm using another compressor.
Thanks,
Stabb

Audio technica 4033 repair?
Earlier today I was making demos using my at4033 through my peavey VMP-2 preamp and Tascam 4 track and it just stopped working. I was using the preamp for the phantom power and all of a sudden the signal from the mic was cut out. The signal coming from my Audio-Technica all of a sudden just went out! SHould I send it to Audio-Technica for repairs? Does any one know the repair rates?

mic repairs?
I have an oktava mk-012 and its got a lot of buzzing and noise when I hook it up with the phantom power. I switched the capsul with one that I know works correctly and still get the same problems which tells me the diaphram is fine. I know these mics are pretty cheap, but would getting it repaired be cheaper than getting a new one? Where can I go for mic repairs? I'm in the chicago area.

Vintage Sennheiser Repair
I've got a pair of Sennheiser MD421's that are sounding a bit nasty and distorted, and I'd really like to get them looked at by a reputable tech somewhere...
Anyone got any suggestions?
They are a U5 and a U3 that has the Tuchel connector replaced by an XLR connector.
Thanks!

Bottom end repair ?
:) In the initial analisis of a song, and if you detect some bass problems, do you tame the EQ on the bottom to a predetermined starting point, or proceed to make individual content corrections rooted on past experience, and the impression from your system?

451 body repair
Hello-
This might be a little simplistic as it doesn't encompass design/capsule/electronics so i'm postin' it here instead of SP's but if you can help SP that's cool as well!
