New RODE Mics
Has anyone seen or heard about the new RODE mics that are coming out soon, the K2 and the NT2000? I have not heard anything about release dates as of yet, but they sure sound like they will be sweet! Nothing on their web site as of yet, just a small blurb in EQ magazine...

Neumann TLM 103 vs. . RODE NTK - Your Opinions Please
Hi Everyone,
I recently bought Neumann TLM-103 mic but I am wondering what is your opinion of it and more importantly how it compares to RODE NTK mike. I initially wanted to buy NTK but they didn't have one in stock so I got the Neumann. Should I return it and get NTK (they still don't have it in stock yet!)
Any help will be highly appreciated.
tnx,
chris
AT3035 and RODE NT1-A
Just curious if anyone out there has opinions on these two large diaphragm condensers, the AT3035 and the RODE NT1-A? They are both priced around $200 with accessories and they look like pretty similar mics to me. I'm looking for mainly a good vocal mic, but versatility is always better in the small studio setting. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks :) .

RODE NTV + TLA 5051
Anybody have some experience with that mic?
I have one NTV and TLA preamp 5051.
Not bad, but I'm not satisfied with sound.
My input volume on TLA is very low, any
stronger signal from mic causes distortion on
preamp, DRIVE diode lightning and sound is
very much in midrange.
Is it good combination:
Tube mic + Tube preamp

RODE NT5 Sample / Drum Overheads
OK folks, I've had a more extensive session with the NT5's today on my drum kit. The MP3 I've posted is a fairly accurate representation of the overall sound.
This MP3 is typical X/Y pattern, about 16" over my head.

RODE NTK or AT 4033a ?
Hi all,
I'm about to start recording a new dance project with 2 female vocalists. I owe only one mike which is Audio-Technica 4033a. I am thinking about getting RODE NTK as I heard it's great for vocals. Would this mike work for female vocal? Would it be better than 4033a? Any thoughts?
tnx,
chris

RODE NT4 or NT 5
I'm planning to buy some overhead mics, the NT4 (stereo with 2 little XY placed mics on it) or the NT5 which are 2 seperate mics. Both are in my budget (about 400/500 dollars). Can someone tell me the (dis)advantages between these mics?
Some advice on a basedrum mic is welcome to, I don't like the AKG D112 though.

RODE NTK vs. . Studio Projects T3
Hopefully Alan can give me some insight on this as well...
I am wanting to get my first "nice" vocal condensor. And, it is really between these two mics at this point.
I have heard some great things done with the NTK, and I would have no hesitation on buying it.

RODE NTK vs. . Blue Baby Bottle
Anyone use both these mics or have an opinion regarding a great $500 vocal/acoustic guitar mic?:
