Im stuck again, i just bought a new sub to go with my klipsch speakers for my mixing station.
Speakers=klipsch wf-35's
Sub=tannoy revolution sub 1001
Power amp=crown 202 (no sub out).

Are there subwoofers that are around $100 to $200 range that can be used for monitoring? I have a pair of Cakewalk MA-7A monitors and it has a sub-out RCA so I can connect a subwoofer to get better low end.

I just purchase the Yamaha HS 80's and the matching HS 10W sub.
It looks like the connections on the back of the sub your able to connect both monitors
and then go out of the Sub into a stereo channel of the Mackie Big Knob.

I recently purchased a 10" KRK subwoofer to go along with my RoKit G2 Powered 8s. I had my 8s hooked up to my computer via a single 3.5 to left/right RCA cable. I attempted to use a similar cable with my sub. The speaker test worked fine, but on playback I have no sub.

Has anyone ever used a homemade subkick for recording bass drum I was thinking about building one and was trying to get some Imput on it

Hey all, sorry if this is a repeat of an oft asked question. I searched but could not find it.

I'm trying to find out about a good location for subwoofer(s) in my CR and how to calibrate it/them. My limited understanding is that time alignment can be an issue with them.

My current layout is:

My 15 inch sub used in my studio is giving an intermittant fault. It kicks in and out. Unfortunately the light for the sub is on the back and takes a bit of crawling to see (its a heavy beast to move) but I can see that the power light goes off when it silences. it runs through a 'kettle' type power lead and I have swapped this lead over so, its not the lead.

I bougt BX10 to use with my BX5a monitors... It has Variable 50-200Hz crossover. Can anybody tell me what it is and how to set it up?
I mean i know what it is but is there "best" way to set it?
