hello,
I have an me66/k6
on phantom power sounds great
i have replaced the battery several times and tested them and the light will not come on
and there is no sound when i push the battery on switch.

help...

Bought an ME66 capsule and the K6 power module was still attached when it arrived.
I popped in a battery, and it worked great but heard hum, switched to phantom and got nothing but hum, no signal.

I'm looking for opinions on specifically the omni capsule setup on the K6 modular system from Sennheiser. I record orchestras primarily and am quite accustomed to and use religiously the Schoeps CMC-62/64 and Sennheiser MKH-20's, but I'm looking for an inexpensive set for "Studio C". Any advice, reviews, or insight would be much appreciated.
