Anyone done comparisons between Nuendo and Sequoia?

Wow, is all I can say. Sequoia 11 just arrived, installed perfectly. So far... I love it. The gui is so real compared to other DAW software. Makes me feel like I'm on a desk rather than all the clutter with example (Sonar). My first impression, anything that looks this nice has got to get better as I start using it. The workflow is grouped out very logical. Adding effects is simple.

I'm excited. I'm dirifting away from PT and happy to announce, Sequoia 11 is being shipped to me.

If anyone over the next year or so learns of the best controller for Sequoia, please let me know. I've seen Mackie might be the choice but would love to see this topic grow on that.

Just wondering i cant find many people who use this as there mastering daw. Just want to talk Sequoia tips and tricks.

I have a bunch of multitrack Pyramix files that need to go to a Sequoia user. We are hoping to convert them to AIFF, BWF, or WAV and send them over in a format that will allow the operator to import (drag/drop) the takes into Seq without having to treat each individual track of a given take. That is, the takes will be multitrack files.

I was wondering if some of the Sequoia users in here could answer some questions for me. The web site isn't real thorough. My main concern is the track count and vitual console. From what I can see on the magix website it seems to be limited to 48 channels? Is that correct. It also doesn't seem to mention anything about buses or aux sends.

I am borrowing one of the "true match" units from my friend Jakob Handel, along with his Pyramix PC system for this Sundays Haydns Creation.(my Lynx interface still hasnt arrived so I cannot use Sequoia :evil: as I wanted..)

Id never heard of that company until Jakob mentioned them. Anyone heard of/heard /used any of their pieces?

OK, Jeremy, (et al) you've got my attention with Sequoia.

I just picked up my 2nd HD24... (I know, I know... but they're servicable and so far are about the best bang for the buck in my mobile rig.) as I transition from ADAT and MOTU 2408.

Here's the set up.

I want to program my drums, bass, and keys with FL, how do I do that in SEQUOIA, I learned how to do it in SONAR 4, but i cvant figure it out with SEQUOIA. Anyone know how?
