SONY Sound Forge: How to Adjust Pitch to a Backing Track?
In SONY Sound Forge, I'm using the Pitch Bend effect to make many adjustments to a vocal track, but I need to SIMULTANEOUSLY listen to the backing instrumental track to ajust the vocal. How can I listen to 2 audio tracks at the same time while adjusting only one of them?
auto trim feature in Sony Sound Forge
This question is mainly focused on Sony Sound Forge, but if you know of another program that has a similar feature that's fine too. I'm looking for a program that will remove gaps of silence in an audio file. There are plenty of programs that have this so-called "auto trim" feature, but usually it's restricted to removing silence at the beginning or end of an audio file.

Sony PCM-D1 vs. Digi 002
Please comment on Sony PCM-D1 vs Digi 002 I'm not a pro :( . So any in-depth tech explanation, links will greatly help.
I record class room lectures with live audience (not a sound proof room). Usually I have only one speaker. I need to get the best quality recording in every aspect.

How do you organize tracks in Sony Acid Pro? Plugin?
In both Sony Acid Pro 6 or Sony Vegas Pro 8, you can move tracks above and below each other, but is there a more sophisticated way to organize them? That is, can you group tracks like you can group layers in Photoshop? Like, have a vocals group with all vocal tracks?
SONY TC-765, is that a good Reel to Reel?
Hi,
I have the opportunity to have for cheap money a Sony TC-765 Reel to Reel.
It's a 1/4" tapes, 7.5 ips, 19 / 38 cm/s speed,
and you can put some 10,5 reels.

SONY TC-765, is it a good Reel 2 Reel?
Hi,
I have the opportunity to have for a cheap a Sony TC-765 Reel to Reel.
I already have some R2R in my short recording experience (revox, Tascam)
I would like to know if somebody has ever tried one of this, and what to think compared to revox, Tascam?
Thanks!

Anyone here used SONY Vital Drums: The Vitale Collection?
And if so, what are your opinions on it? Could you recommend other drum loop libraries that are strictly loops?

Sony CD Architect: Yes or no?
I really, really don't want a truckload of features. All I want is something with decent compression and eq and hp filter, and ability to print a Red Book CD. I am not going to do fancy stuff; it'll be seeing tracks that are pretty much done.
But I do want an app that sounds good and won't be crashing all the time and whose instructions are actually correct and complete.

Help. Sony Forge, Vegas, or Acid?
What is the best to record in my "home studio"? Sony Forge, Vegas, or Acid? I use an Emu 0404 sound card, a Behringer502 xenyx mixer, a Behringer 2 v-amp for bass and guitar, and a Yamaha psr-540 keyboard. I just record like pop punk songs and "hip hop" songs for fun. Right now I am using Vegas. I just want to know what would be best for my purposes.
