I have a guitar amplifier which I do not use, and I want to convert it into a bass combo amplifier. What if I want to switch out the guitar speaker with a bass speaker? Where would I buy one? Are there any considerations for this type of speaker transfer? If so, where can I purchase a 12 inch bass speaker? Are there any speakers which are better than others?

The sound I'm looking for is a very tight metal distortion.

I'm wondering if it will be beneficial to surround the 12" x 4 speaker box I'm using with acoustic panels, creating a sort of closed space for the microphone.

I'm using Peavey JSX 120w head and I have a couple of high end guitars with humbuckers.

I've searched very long for the right workflow. The resulting workflow can be described not as complete and is constantly evolving. When I look back, as clueless as I worked with Wavelab at First, I must laugh about me - or even ashamed. And maybe I will the current, in turn, smile again.

Is it worth trying to fix it?
Or should i just get a new speaker?

I'm interested in buying a speaker splitter. But I have no clue on what I may need or if I'm buying the correct one. I'm looking to buy one that will support at least 3 speakers. So far i Have two sets of speakers: Samson Audio - Resolv 40a and a pair of EPI 100 i bought from goodwill for like 5 dollars.

Now if I was the rock star I always hoped I would be, only to be able to buy my dream analog consol that sits close to my fine listening / study room... I might buy these gems for around $120,000.

I have the Event Tria 2.1 system where the 2 satellite speakers are powered via a 5pin female to female cable that runs from the sub/power amp. I'm pretty certain that one of these cables is bad or there is a bad ground. Does anyone have any familiarity with these cables? this system? ANY help is appreciated, thank you!
