Akai MPK 249 Toggle switch wont engage

Hi, I'm new here and new to Pro Tools so I don't know much. I am using the Ueberschall Elastik 3 player to assign drum loops to my midi keyboard. The problem is, the loops only run as long as I hold the key down. I need them to run when I engage the key and turn off when I depress it a second time. I read the Akai manual and I think they refer to this as setting keys to toggle.

How you deal with Heat in summers while recording - I switch off Fan but I have to AC

Hello,

I setup a home studio in last winters, things were going great and now as summers going on, now it's a bit difficult to record.
So far I managed somehow. Here we had a 48 degree temperature but now it's 35 degree and humidity level is 75.

Does This Switch Wiring Work For What I Want?

I want to break a signal path which has no discrete components in it as of now. I want a 3 position toggle switch to have the options of Stock (signal pass through), Resistor 1 (signal path broken and routed into Resistor 1), and Resistor 2 (signal path broken and routed into Resistor 2). I've been pondering this, but I think I have figured out how to do it.

Hello Everyone,

Just finished up another Instructable.

In my never ending quest for a high quality ribbon microphone in every studio locker (chicken in every pot), I designed a tool to help corrugate ribbons for ribbon microphones.

Power Delay Switch Required for Mixer

I apologize in advance for my lack of technical knowledge, I will try my best :)

We have a old 12 Channel Yorkville mixer that runs 2 self powered Mackie Speakers in a Worship environment.

Right now, there is a delay switch wired in so that the mixer turns on first, then a half second later, the powered Mackie Speakers.

Need something to switch from Monitors to Headphones.

Okay, so I need something besides a PreSonus Studio Control Center or a Mackie Big Knob to switch from monitors to headphones. I record in the same room all of my equipment is in. The sound is crystal clear but I just don't feel like shutting off the monitors every time I have to start recording. Any suggestions?

Metering in GarageBand-- Time to switch to Logic?

Having been disabused of the notion that setting levels means just turning it up until the red light comes on and then turning it back down a little, I am at a loss as to how to translate the little green bar in GarageBand into the actual -12 to -6dB (maximum) peaks that I hear so much of on this board and elsewhere.
