Hi all

I've recently purchased a Tascam DP-01FX and I'm trying to export single tracks to my PC (Windows XP setup).

I've followed the instructions to the letter. When I get to connecting up the multitrack and "opening" the USB connection, I get a message on my PC system tray saying "USB device not recognised".

I got this because I needed a simple platform to write for a few friends out of state. I have not had any success in importing .WAV files into the machine. I have followed all of the directions, and (forgive me for saying) went to the Guitar center (I.E.Retard center) and tried to get one of the underpaid and seldom laid to explain the process. They like always were clueless.

Hey guys, I'm new to the site, looks like a good thing going on here. Anyways, I have a Tascam DP-01 multi-track digital recorder. Once you're done working on a song on it, you can hook up to your computer through USB. Well, when I transfer the song files to my computer, it's really quiet when i play it, and of course, if I burn a CD of it, it's reallly quiet too. Any suggestions?
