The TASCAM M2524 Recording Mixer is a 24 input and 10 output mixer designed primarily for electronic music applications. It can be used as a main console or a submitter in a recording system. The M2524 has four effect sends and four effect returns (2 stereo and 2 mono), so it can be connected to four effect devices.

A MIDI addressable muting system allows you to turn channels on and off on command, either from the top panel or from an external MIDI device. A SOLO feature makes it easy to concentrate on one input at a time. Each channel has 3 band EQ, and because each channel has 40 db of gain in the preamp and a trim control, low-level sources-even microphones and pickups can be connected to the M2524. Each input has a direct output jack for connection to external submitters or directly to a multitrack recorder.
