Well.. my Tascam fw 1804 has just arrived. this is my first interface. are theyre any other 1804 users out there?

care to leave me some feedback on how this puppy runs? what do you guys use it for.. any defects?

I bought a laptop these days and i wanted to buy some I/O card that can do the job done using Reason 3 and probably Cubase SX 2. The thing is that everytime i look for a USB gear, latency issues comes as a common fact in the reviews, which is for me, one of the main concerns for a interface.

Hi, I sincerely hope someone here can help me with my digital recording, as it has been driving me round the bend trying to get answers to these. I apologise if these questions are a bit moronic, but all the manuals I got with my equipment seem to skip over all the key information.

My recording set-up:

I have a Tascam Ministudio, 4 track tape recorder. I have a fairly new HP Pavillion. What do I need to get to be able to hook the Tascam up into my computer, where I could end up recording onto a CD. thanks

I'm thinking about trying to get a Tascam 388. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they good machines? Does the mixer section sound good? Does anyone have one they want to sell? Thanks!

WHat are some of the views on this piece of equiptment. or even the Mackie too.

Im still looking for an interface, and I like the fact that this equiptment is a controller also.

I actually own a M2600 16input but I've seen a deal on a M3500 32inputs.

How is the M3500 compared to the M2600? are the pre worst, better or the same? I record with an analog 24trk so actually it is always a pain in the ass to mix with a 16channels board but if the overall quality of the m3500 is not as good as the m2600 obviously I won't change...

I was seriously looking at getting this. I really don't have money to spend. But I'm going to look into this. I'm going to plop down another gig of memory in my computer first.

Hey guys, I'm new to the site, looks like a good thing going on here. Anyways, I have a Tascam DP-01 multi-track digital recorder. Once you're done working on a song on it, you can hook up to your computer through USB. Well, when I transfer the song files to my computer, it's really quiet when i play it, and of course, if I burn a CD of it, it's reallly quiet too. Any suggestions?

what is "kuser.dll". ?
That is the file windows says I need to locate, from a CD I do not have
in order to finish installing 3_0_9 on my pc...
and 3_2_4,as well, same deal..
