How come a noisy mouse might be?

'it's not usb any longer, I tried that, and it obviously wasn't the "cause" of my noisy staticky sounding mouse.
(ITS ALMOST JUST LIKE CHANGING THE DIAL ON AN AM RADIO!)
AS I "MOVE" MY MOUSE, while a recorded file "plays", the noise is terrible!

I currently have a Tascam US-122 and am looking to upgrade. I would like S/PDIF ins and outs and don't want to spend more than $250-300. Also, it needs 24-bit capabilities. Some of the M-Audio FW stuff is appealing, but I have heard there are problems with the drivers for OS X and are just problematic. Any ideas?

Just a quick question - I'm considering using the Tascam DV-RA1000 as my master recorder (or one of them I should say) but I'm curious.

I know it writes DSDIFF files, but can it play them back so as to verify what has been recorded, or are you at the mercy of the machine?

I am in definite need of your expertise. I am looking into purchasing the Tascam us 2400 because I think it looks good and it has the feel that I am looking for. To make a long story short, I need your geniune opinion on this piece of equipment. Is all hype or is it the truth? Thanks in advance.

In an unrelated post, marsvolta posed this question, and I'm very interested in hearing the answer as I am doing something similar...I'm running into a Focusrite TT Pro, to a dbx266xl and then into my Tascam FW-1884 to get the signal into my computer.

Hello all, I was wondering if any of you good people out there has/or be willing to let me copy the manual for this DAT machine, also I have heard that it has quite a reputation albeit quite an old recorder any info would be greatly recieved

Can anybody help me get the drum mechine to work on my tascan I have followed idiots guide but I'm sure an idiot wrote it but just maybe it's me Help

I am using a Tascam interface us122 usb for recording our shows off the soundboard. We use the progam wavelab to capture one long wave. However every 3-4 minutes there is some strange choppyness for about 5 seconds.

I need some advice for what to buy everyone says go with Pro Tools but Pro Tools le only has 32 tracks at 48khz and Cubase le has 48 tracks at 96khz and it dosent cost 10,000 dollars to upgrade it to a better program like Pro Tools does. And with Cubase i can get the fw-1884, have 8 mic preamps and a control surface for the same price as the digi 002 rack.
